State Premium Tax Recoveries was founded in 2004 when W. Lee James began a consulting practice to use his vast knowledge and experience with premium taxation to assist insurance companies in minimizing their tax liabilities.   Prior to State Premium Tax Recoveries he was employed by Torchmark Corporation as the State Tax Manager.  The more than 35 years that Lee worked in this and other positions within Torchmark or its subsidiaries provided the experience to gain his extensive knowledge about the many complications in minimizing state premium taxes.  He and his
